The documentary ‘Hope’ was produced in London, in collaboration with Film Production and Photography students at the University of Portsmouth and a Prince’s Trust Team programme cohort at Waltham Forest College.
My production level across this project have ranged from putting a trusted Team together, booking equipment, arranging trips, securing funding, script writing, delivering creative workshops, compiling administrative paperwork and liaising with operations and marketing teams.
During the global pandemic outbreak in early 2020, ‘Hope’ has taken an unexpected turn; it has matured to a reflection on how young people benefit from the Team Programme in such unpredictable climate. These young people testimonies show the importance of building communities and strong educational projects. We are planning to continue this collaboration and provide creative workshops to support the young people on their own projects. The trailer was released in January 2021 and is used by Waltham Forest College to promote the Team Programme.
